Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

At Meteor (offered by Yavqo, "we", "our", "us"), we value the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy details how we handle the information collected from your use of the Meteor desktop application and our website.

1. Local-First Architecture

Meteor is designed with a local-first philosophy. Your codebase, project configuration files, local repositories, shell logs, and environment variables are index-built and processed locally on your hardware. We do not transfer or sync your repository files to our external servers.

2. Information We Process

  • Account Data: When registering or purchasing a license key, we store your email address and transaction data to manage your subscription.
  • Prompt and Context Inputs: When you execute a coding task, Meteor extracts relevant code snippets to form context prompts. These prompts are sent to our language model API endpoints (or your own configured key provider) to generate responses. These inputs are used purely to serve your requests and are not retained by Yavqo or used to train public machine learning models.
  • Telemetry (Optional): If you choose to enable telemetry, the application sends anonymous reports detailing feature usage, error logs, and system diagnostics to help us improve the agent's capabilities.

3. Third-Party Model Providers

Prompt code context is processed via artificial intelligence model integrations. We secure strict data processing agreements with our API vendors (including Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI) to ensure that prompt details are treated as confidential, are not stored long-term, and are never used to train public models.

4. Data Security

All connection handshakes to our servers and API providers are encrypted using standard TLS protocol. Your subscription details are held securely in cloud datastores, protected by multi-factor authentication and strict access controls.
